Open for breakfast and all-day dining, HIU Restaurant & Wine Lounge is conveniently situated on the lobby level, beside the swimming pool and close to the lobby. Guests may select from an à la carte menu of fine Asian and European bistro food, including burgers, barbequed fish, grilled tenderloin steak, chicken cordon bleu, pizza and pasta dishes and vegetarian options, as well as soups, appetisers and desserts. Local specialties include the yellow spicy chicken soup known as ‘Soto Ayam’; ‘Bebek Goreng’ – crispy fried duck; ‘Mixed Satay’ sticks of lamb, chicken and beef served with peanut sauce; and ‘Nasi Campur Bali’ featuring a medley of traditional dishes. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks include cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and healthy juices, plus a good selection of local and international wines. There is also a choice of various four-course set menus. An American, Indonesian and Continental breakfast buffet is available every morning.
